Application per substrate:
-
Polyester (gelcoat): For a new anti-osmosis system, we recommend Gelshield 200, as this primer builds the highest film thickness.
-
Primocon can also be used as an anti-osmosis system and works well as an intermediate coat.
-
Steel/lead/iron: The primer layer can be Primocon or Interprotect.
-
Wood: For wooden surfaces, we recommend Primocon.
How long does the antifouling last?
After painting, the antifouling can easily be stored until the next season. Close the lid properly and briefly turn the can upside down. This ensures the packaging is airtight and prevents drying out. Then place the can upright again and store the antifouling in a frost-free environment.
